Six Nations Betting Preview – Ireland v Wales – Richard Shaw Wright
After a rest week this is Richard Shaw Wright looking ahead to the action from the Six Nations, which resumes on Saturday afternoon and first up it’s Ireland hosting Wales in Dublin.
The home side are 2 from 2, beating France away and shutting out Italy last time, while it's the reverse for Wales with defeats, albeit narrow ones, to Scotland and England so far.
That nil against Italy was Ireland's first clean sheet, if you will, in the tournament since 1987 and you wouldn't expect them to do that again at this time. But win certainly!
Now having said that, with those narrow defeats, albeit again size not as good as Ireland on paper, of course that 22-point handicap seems a little too high for me, so I'll be taking Wales plus that in this contest.
With three tries in two games, Irish hooker Dan Sheehan and is odds on to score here. So I'm going to go for a bigger price on fullback Kieran Frawley to cross for a score in Dublin.
