Premier League Treble - Wednesday 27th December

Premier League Betting Preview – Wednesday Night’s Matches

A Premier League treble for the night starting with Crystal Palace’s trip to Chelsea.

With no Palmer or Sterling due to suspension and the Chelsea injury list as long as your arm – with Caicedo ill as well – it won’t be a better time for Palace to go to the Bridge, where they haven’t even scored in 5 attempts. Chelsea have won the last 12 games between these two, but we’ve seen them dig in so well at City and a take a point off Brighton. But Roy Hodgson is 7 without a win and do you think Steve Cooper’s had a nice few days off over Christmas?!

Nkunku is 6/1 first goal and 9/4 any time – that is more likely to happen than Chelsea beating Palace. I can’t put any money on a Chelsea home win these days. It’s just not worth backing until we can finally see this tide turn. There’s a huge amount of pressure on Nkunku to deliver so they’re being quite rightly very cautious.

Score draw at 4/1 for me.

Also in West London, Brentford are on a run, having lost 5 of their last 6 matches. The Bees now sit just seven points above the dropzone as they face Wolves.

Wolves sit three points ahead of Brentford following their 2-1 win over Chelsea on Christmas Eve to end a two-game winless run. But they’ve lost their last 4 away from home. Brentford need the home form to click again, Wolves just need to work out how to win away again.

Take a point each and move on? Brentford may feel they need this more, but the injuries are playing their part and I don’t think either side have it in them to win.

Another score draw 19/5

At Goodison later in the night Everton face City, back fresh from the world club title and possibly bringing back Doku and Haaland where the Blues have overcome that 10-pount deduction then gone out of the Carabao Cup and lost at Spurs where they put up a late rally. They’ll want to be in the game late on here and let’s face it, City give you a goal these days. I just can’t see this Everton dragging City down to the level they want them to be at. City absolutely love playing at Goodison. They will again.

City and both teams to score is 12/5

Two score draws and City win and BTTS at Everton is a 75/1 treble on the night.
