National League Betting Preview with Tom Feaheny

I'm Tom Feeney and these are my National League picks. So we finally returned to some National League action after the FA Cup a few weeks ago for some of the sides and the FA Trophy for all the National League sides.

There are some interesting games taking place or the first one to have a look at is Chesterfield.

The league leaders going up against Hartlepool United, for Hartlepool this certainly hasn't been the kind of season their fans were hoping for and Chesterfield really are the team with momentum behind them.

Paul Cook knows though that this will be a tough game. And I do feel there won't be too much in this one and I'm thinking that Chesterfield will get the victory, but I'm saying that they'll only win by the odd goal.

Aldershot Town's home form has been remarkable over the past few months. They've really turned the place into a fortress and it's helped them climb the table and be a side that will be looking at those play off places come the end of the season and I think that that winning run will be continuing.

They're taking on an Eastleigh side who just like themselves, were in the FA Cup a few and expect they know that momentum is so important, and I think that will be continuing for the shots.

I'm gonna say they win this one.

There be goals in it though as well I'm gonna say over 2.5 goals - Paul McCallum will be getting on the score sheet as well for a goalscorer prediction.

Now looking at two teams who had really good wins a few weeks back in the league in Maidenhead United and Kidderminster Harriers.

It was a much needed win for Kidderminster as they gained 2-0 victory against Ebbsfleet United and for Maidenhead United their league form over the past few weeks has been really impressive and it's seen them move away from being in any potential danger for the time being.

They're currently well placed in mid table and that's where they'd like to be come the end of the season, and I think that unbeaten room will be continuing, but I do think Kidderminster have shown some real fight over the last couple of weeks so it’s a draw for me in this one.

Rochdale saw their winning run in league action end at three matches a few weeks back as they were defeated against Bromley losing to Bromley, though is no shame, especially away from home, and I do feel that they've shown that they've got what it takes to start another winning run. Especially going up against York City this time round at home.

York's recent form in the league, points away at Maidenhead United a good win against AFC Fylde but then losses followed so it’s Rochdale all the way in this one.

So my predictions are Chesterfield, Aldershot Town and Rochdale wins and a draw between Maidenhead United and Kidderminster Harriers.

Let's see what happens.
