Our man Al Ross looks away from the title race to pluck the best betting value from this week's Non-League fixtures.

There are quite a few short prices in the National League this weekend. Leaders Barnet are one of them, but I’ve seen Boston recently and I wouldn’t be confident. Of the chasing pack, Forest Green and York City should both win - but not at their prices.
Sutton United, though. That’s interesting. A classic story of “League Two club gets relegated and takes a few months to find their feet in a lower division", but they’ve more than stablised. Unbeaten in 2025, and (if you include the nonsense Non-League Cup) then it’s 5 straight wins, including York City away – the first time anyone’s taken even a point from York’s ground since September – so given they're at home to a Hartlepool side who’ve only won twice in 10, and are below Sutton in the table despite having played more games, Sutton should be odds-on here, but Wiliam Hill offer them at 7/5.
Vying with Sutton for the title of the National League’s most in form side is Halifax Town. A shock defeat to Fylde last week ends what was a 100% record in 2025 and, unlike opponents Tamworth who’ve been playing catch-up on fixtures after their excellent FA Cup run, Halifax have had weather issues with their pitch and had several fixtures postponed. I think Halifax will be fitter, they’re definitely higher in the table, they’re more in form and I don’t think the loss of Andrew Oluwabori will matter as much as you think – he’s only scored 3 of their last 15 goals. Tamworth games tend to be tight, so Halifax by one goal 10/3 with Bet365 is really good, but I’m sticking with the 6/4 outright.
And to make it a tasty treble, it’s Aldershot vs Fylde in a basement battle. There’s a high average number of goals in the National League anyway, but these are two of the top three in terms of goals per game this season. 3.21 goals per game for Aldershot and 3.24 goals for Fylde. 34 goals in Fylde’s last 10 mathces – 14 of them Fylde’s – and FORTY goals in Aldershot’s last ten, and TWENTY SIX of those have been for Aldershot. I’d fancy Aldershot to win – but not at 7/10, I’d fancy Over 2.5 Goals, but not at 4/7. Betway’s offer of Aldershot to win and Both Teams to Score at 21/10 is incredible value though, and an excellent single. For the acca though, I’ll stick with Unibet’s 6/4 on the over 3.5 goals mark.

William Hill will give you the treble of Sutton United, Halifax and over 3.5 goals between Aldershot and Fylde at a treble price of 13.11/1 NAP: Sutton Utd @ 7/5
