League One Betting Preview: Friday Night Treble

David Easson

Three matches in League One on Friday means we can set up a quick fire treble in the League One betting preview

Friday Night League One Treble 201224David Easson

Friday night's matches give us 3 sides very much on the up with an obvious but really quite backable treble to go for.

Leaders Wycombe will seek to go four points clear of Birmingham at the top of the table when they host Bolton, who can jump up from eighth into the play-off places with a victory. Bolton are making up for their dreadful start to the season but the Chairboys cannot be denied at this moment.

23/20 for them to win at home - a side 18 without a defeat in the league.

Fourth-placed Huddersfield have been in great form but just dropped a few points with the top places in sight. They showed real fight to come from 2-0 down at home to Lincoln last week to save a draw and will be seeking to close the gap on the automatic promotion places as they visit third-bottom Cambridge United. They've gone 5 unbeaten at home but the Terriers have done well on the road and they'll be looking for a 3rd straight away win.

Just under even money for that

Stockport, in fifth, are waiting to pounce on any slip-ups as they entertain mid-table Peterborough, who have seen an incredible 72 goals scored in their 19 games thus far. The Hatters are the play but you cannot deny the Posh when it comes to goals. They're just monsters, but County at Edgeley Park have had 3 big home wins on the spin and I'm going with them here.

Boost the treble to almost 9/1 with Stockport and over 2.5 goals in the game.
