David Easson and Paul Robinson - Premier League Betting Preview - Sunday 3rd March

The Manchester Derby

City v United at the Etihad with former England keeper Paul Robinson shocked but not surprised that the Red Devils are as big as 10/1 to win this one

The price is incredible but I think that speaks for itself. The bookies don’t often get it wrong and these are two teams that are worlds apart at the moment in the way that they're playing.

City have struggled over the line against Bournemouth and Brentford with 1-0 wins, but they're still getting the results. The performance against Luton in the FA Cup was outstanding. The worrying thing for Manchester United and the rest of the Premier League the fact that Pep squad is fully fit bar Jack Grealish. Nunes played and was brilliant. Haaland looked like he was up for the challenge and it was just a one man demolition of Luton. Manchester United, on the other hand, nicked past Forest after a home defeat against Fulham. Look at the players they've got missing without Hojland. Rashford's body language again midweek against Nottingham Forest was poor and you can’t see him getting anything out this City defence if he’s playing down the middle. I think the majority of United fans will be behind the sofa hoping that it's no more than a respectable defeat.

The value may be in City conceding because they do, but who’s scoring for United? I’d say City to nil, build it in with a nailed-on Casemiro yellow card. As an outsider for a goal after I saw him in midweek is Nunes for City, if he gets a start. He was a real threat at Luton.

The Casemiro yellow is worth a bet in itself!

The optimists might look at the 10/1 price and think it’s worth a shot. If you do, good luck. You might need it!
