You're listening to Betting Radio. I'm David Easson. I've got Paul Robinson, the former England goalkeeper with me looking ahead to the big game of the weekend. It's Liverpool versus Manchester United. My cards on the table is I'm of the home persuasion here.
I mean you look at the way Manchester United are playing, you look at where they are. There are club that's in turmoil at the moment and and that's a strong word, but they are. They're Manchester United, don't lose at home three nil to Bournemouth. No disrespect to Bournemouth but you look at the way Manchester United have struggled with players attitudes with their applications, with the the leaks coming out, the dressing room about the unrest with the manager, Champions League sums it up, the Galatasaray. Copenhagen in a group and Manchester United finished bottom of that group. OK, you can understand Bayern Munich top in the group, but Manchester United you don't get knocked out the Champions League, losing to Copenhagen and losing to to Galatasaray in the way that they have. They're just not in a good place going to Old Trafford this weekend will. Old danger for them. They will be looking for a damage limitation. You know you're missing Harry Maguire. You're missing Luke Shaw. Bruno Fernandez is suspended. They're they're a makeshift patch up team. You're patching up a poor team, which is, which would suggest that Man United is going to. Go there and win. No, I mean, listen that the sensible money is on on Liverpool. I mean, you're looking at the odds, that's what Manchester United and nines. I mean, when have you ever seen Manchester United at 9:00? And in in any game really, but this that shows where they're at, it would be a huge upset if they were to win this weekend. But they're Manchester United, the one of, if not the biggest club in the world, and they've got the history of if, if you put out a group of players there who realise the weight of that Manchester United shirt and they start working their attitude in the application, they cause Liverpool a problem. They're still in the game after 60-70 minutes. Then there's, you know, there's some in game betting to be had, but for me, everything points to a very comfortable home win.
Liverpool, if you think they they concede a goal 13 to 10 for Liverpool and both teams to score most Sala first scorer 7/2. Salo loves playing against Manchester United. He's just hit his 200 so there's no pressure to go and I need to get the record which he puts on himself. He loves the record. There's no pressure on him in that one so he looks a bit a bit free. They've had a week off. They've not played Bayern Munich in midweek, they've sent the Under 21’s to go and play in in Belgium. They they'll be prepared for this Liverpool and and Jurgen Klopp will not look at this game and go oh Manchester United and he will put out a side.
Of course he will take great pride in doing so and if, if that is the case, but on the flip side of that, as will Manchester United, Erickson hard will understand the magnitude of this game. It understand how under pressure is with this job and you would like to think that the players will respond and understand what this this. Next year means to Manchester United and its supporters. I do fear for them this weekend, as I suspect most honest, Manchester United fans would as well. I mean anything if they get anything this weekend it would be a good. Result for them. I think they'll be goals, but I think Liverpool, I know they've got three clean sheets in the last four, but I think the susceptible at the back I'll give. You United a goal 3 or 4 Liverpool Salah to score.
3-1 for Liverpool is 10/1 4-1 is 14/1 and Mo Salah in the anytime goal scorer is available for you too. Thank you Paul. Thank you. And we'll see you next time for the next match week in the Premier League.
