Pinch, punch, the first of every month, and pinch me, as I have seen that table-topping Gillingham are odds against, 21/20, in a few places, QuinnBet being one of them, to beat poor on the road Grimsby at the Priestfield Stadium. I’d take that and take it now before it goes to odds against. I doubt very much it will be odds against come kick off.

Gillingham are currently the best side in League 2, Grimsby are not, and it may well work in the favour of Gillingham backers that Grimsby won away at Carlisle at the weekend. Grimsby rarely win away from home these days, they have won just 4 aways games in their last 30 in League 2, and in their previous 3 wins before picking up 3 points at Carlisle, they have failed to score in the following away game in all 3 occasions.

I’m backing Gillingham to make it 5 straight wins at home at 21/20. A must play.

Another Walsall win

Another team in great form, especially at home is Walsall, and I am backing them to continue that form at home to a Fleetwood side who are quite handy on their travels but have not got a good record at Walsall. 6 defeats in 7 games at the Poundland Bescot Stadium, you could say Fleetwood often leave shortchanged. Anyhow, Walsall are 15/13 to win at Betfair and this is a definite play for the current 2nd best side in the division.

I backed Walsall to win at the weekend and they demolished Colchester 4-0. I’m not sure it will be that easy again for the home side, but Walsall are a bet to make it 5 straight wins at home, just like Gillingham.

And to complete the treble, I’m simply backing Port Vale, 10/11 again at Betfair to win at Colchester who got a thumping at nearby Walsall at the weekend.

Victory for Vale

Vale have won 3 of their last 4 and scored 11 goals in their last 5 games in League 2, Colchester are poor away from home and have conceded 12 goals in their 4 away games so far this season. I could go for goals, and both teams to score, and please do so if you wish to boost the price on the home side but I am keeping it simple. Port Vale to win, 10/11.

So, my simple treble for Tuesday nights fixtures in League 2. Gillingham, 21/20 at QuinnBet, great bet, to win at home to Grimsby. Walsall at 15/13 at Betfair to win at home to Fleetwood and Port Vale at 10/11, at Betfair again, to win at home to Colchester.

That treble is just over 8/1. Good luck with your bets and please remember to gamble responsibly
