Gavin Puszczalowskyi is looking ahead to the Thursday night game in League 2.
Harrogate face Doncaster for a random Thursday night Yorkshire derby in League 2, with table topping Donnie 4/5 to win, and for starters, that is definitely a play.
Marvellous Molyneux
Rovers are my tip to be automatically promoted, and so far, they have done nothing to convince me otherwise. They ended last season in rip-roaring form, and they have 4 of their 5 league games so far this season. And they have Billy Sharp, who is scoring goals, as he does, 2 in 2, so backing him to score anytime at 13/8 is a play but I really like Lee Molyneux from midfield to score. He’s simply been sensational this season. 10 goals in 47 appearances last season, 4 goals in 5 this, he is on fire. 11/5 anytime score, yes please.
I fear I maybe too dismissive of Harrogate, who sit 20th on 4 points. Since entering the Football League, they have played Doncaster 4 times, and never lost. Drawn 1, won the rest, including the double over them last season, but this is a different Doncaster side and have been since January of this year. They have kicked into gear and hardly slowed down.
Harrogate tend to concede over 1.5 goals in a game at home, happened in 3 of their last 4, and they are yet to score at home in the league, and Doncaster, well, they have Sharp and Molyneux for starters, and they have score over 1.5 goals in 7 of their last 8 away games. So, that 4/5 on Doncaster looks better and better.
But I’m going to play Doncaster on the handicap market, -1 at 21/10 at Hills.
