Dave Tindall's Thursday Europa League betting preview focuses on goalscorers and his tips include a mammoth 105/1 acca.
Porto v Man Utd
Manchester United continue to stumble from one crisis to another and defeat away to Porto would surely be another nail in the coffin for beleaguered boss Erik ten Hag.
United conceded for fun in their away Champions League games last season, losing 4-3 against both Bayern and Copenhagen and drawing 3-3 with Galatasaray.
Goals look likely here with Porto having plenty of firepower and Over 2.5 at 17/20 must be worthy of consideration.
Porto lost 3-2 away to Bodo Glimt in their opener in this year’s Europa League so maybe Over 3.5 at 23/10 is worth a go too.
If we expect goals, the goalscorer markets make appeal too and I’m going to go for an anytime goalscorer double.
First up is Porto’s Samu Omorodion, who has five goals in his last four matches - four in the league and one in the Bodo Glimt game.
A summer target for Chelsea, the 20-year-old striker is full of confidence.
For United, Bruno Fernandes should enjoy the return to his homeland after the shame of being sent off in United’s 3-0 home defeat to Spurs.
Fernandes used to play for Porto’s rivals Sporting so a goal on Thursday would have that extra bit of frisson.
The double of Omorodio and Fernandes both to score comes out at 14/1.
Ferencvaros v Tottenham
Tottenham are in fine spirits after their 3-0 cruise at Old Trafford and are warm 4/9 favourites to beat Ferencvaros.
The Hungarians ship plenty of goals so this is another chance to play the scorer markets.
The one I like is summer signing Dominic Solanke who has really found his feet after failing to score in his opening three games for Spurs.
The former Bournemouth man was on target in Tottenham’s 3-0 win over Qarabag and has now scored in three straight games for his new club.
Rangers v Lyon
I’m going to combine a goal for Solanke with a scorer bet in Rangers’ home game with Lyon.
Both these teams are on the up after sticky starts to the season, with Rangers now winning four in a row.
Lyon have been conceding so this looks a good opportunity for Rangers striker Cyriel Dessers to continue his hotstreak in front of goal.
The Nigerian striker has seven goals this season but the last six have come at Ibrox so he looks particularly potent at home.
A Solanke - Dessers anytime goalscorer double pays around 13/2.
And, yes, why not combine all four goalscorer selections as well.
The anytime goalscorer acca on Omorodion, Fernandes, Solanke and Dessers pays a mighty 105/1 with bet365.
Dave's best bets
Omorodion and Fernandes anytime goalscorer double at 14/1
Solanke and Dessers anytime goalscorer double at 13/2
Omorodion, Fernandes, Solanke and Dessers goalscorer acca at 105/1
Enjoy the action, good luck with your bets but please game responsibly
