With plenty of action on Good Friday, here are our best bets for League 2

Carlisle v Port Vale

Two teams that could be going in very different directions as the end of the season meet on Friday when Carlisle play host to Port Vale.

Carlisle are staring relegation directly in the face while Port Vale are having a good old flirt with automation promotion. They are currently 3 points clear at the top of the table. The pressure is on both these side to get 3 points for very different reasons.

PREVIEW: Carlisle v Port Vale

Carlisle are 6 points from safety with 12 points left to play for. They cannot afford to be defensive and try and get a draw, a point is not good enough, so they have to play an open game and go on the attack, which could work in favour for the current league leaders.

Port Vale do not have the best away form with 2 wins in 5 but they were the last 2 away games they have played and we're backing them to make it 3 wins out of 3 on the road.

Vale are 23/20 at Ladbrokes to win and that is our selection.

Colchester v Crewe

Colchester find themselves 1 point and 1 place outside the play-offs and they play a Crewe side at home on Friday that are out of sorts at the moment. Crewe have lost 3 of their last 4, they have only won 1 of their last 8 and find themselves 5 points adrift of the play-offs.

PREVIEW: Colchester v Crewe

After a run of 5 consecutive wins, Colchester hit a stumbling block with no wins in 3, but they have bounced back with 2 consecutive wins. Colchester at home are in good form, with 6 wins in their last 8, so we're backing them at 6/5 at AKBets to win this one.

Tranmere v Doncaster

Since the sacking of Nigel Adkins, Tranmere's fortunes have changed, and so has their form, and they are clearly enjoying their football. No win in 12 has turned into 4 wins in their last 7 and only 1 defeat in those 7 games.

We backed Tranmere to win at Accrington last week and found themselves losing 3-0 with 12 mins left to play. They fought back to earn a 3-3 draw much to the delight, obviously, of the travelling fans who offered some amazing limbs in celebration. Fair play.

PREVIEW: Tranmere v Doncaster

Tranmere host a Doncaster Rover's side who are pushing for automatic promotion and are currently outside the top 3 on goal difference. Doncaster have won 2 of their last 5 away games so we cannot back them at odds on to win.

Tranmere have won their last 3 at home, scoring 8 and conceding just 1 goal. They are 11/4 to win and we're backing it.

Good luck with your bets, enjoy the football and please gamble responsibly.
