A Wimbledon Tuesday 4-fold Acca

The second round of the women's gets underway. I'm going to give you four bets and we'll roll them up into an accumulator.

PICK 1: Naomi Osaka is taking on Emma Navarro. It’s 4/5 for Osaka and 6/5 for Navarro, who is the 19th seed. They've never played each other before. Navarro lost in the semi-finals at Bad Homburg last week, while Osaka is a former world no.1. She doesn't play so much since the birth of her child, but is still very capable of taking down anybody on her day. I'm struggling to call the winner, but I think it could quite easily go to three sets.

It's 13/10 for it to be a three-set thriller. You don't even need the thriller bit.

PICK 2: The second match I'm looking sees Coco Gauff taking on Anca Tandoni of Romania. Gauff looked superbly strong in a straight sets win in the first round over Caroline Dolehide. She's 1/25 to win the match, but let's go for a quick Gauff win. You can play to win in straights at 1/4, but I'm going to go under 17.5 games in the match at 11/10.

PICK 3: Diana Schneider is ranked no.30 in the world and sshe takes on world no.50 Sloane Stephens, the former Grand Slam winner. Schneider is 11/17 to win this one and I think she does. She was the winner on the grass of Bad Homburg last week and brings good form into Wimbledon. Sloane Stephens is not quite the player she used to be, so I’m playing that 11/17 on Schneider to get through to the round three.

PICK 4: Elise Mertens is playing the Brit, Emma Raducanu. Raducanu is now 135th in the world and is getting back to her best. She did come up trumps for us in the first round, albeit against a weaker opponent than we expected. She got the lucky loser on Centre Court and came through pretty comfortably in the end.

But Elise Mertens is a very good player and is interesting at 8/5 to win this one. The world no.33 should not be the outsider, so I'm taking the value on Elise Mertens at 8/5.

If you put my picks together, that gives us an 18.14/1 Acca.

Please Gamble Responsibly and, of course, enjoy the tennis.

I'll be back again tomorrow.
