I'm looking ahead to the first round at Wimbledon, and I've picked out a few matches here, some shocks potentially in both sides of the draw, the men's and the women's.

Mens 1st Round at Wimbledon

Let's start off with Charles Broom of Great Britain. He's 6/5 to beat Stan Wawrinka of Switzerland. Wawrinka, a veteran now, and very much a clay court specialist and Broom has got a bit of a hit here, so 6/5 on Broome to get himself through to the second round.

Gael Monfils has been in cracking form of late. He's taking on 22nd seed Adrian Mannarino of France, so two Frenchmen facing off at Wimbledon. Monfils is the favourite at 5/11, but I think that's a fairly solid pick in round one.

And finally, for the treble, Taylor Fritz is 1/10 to beat Christopher O'Connell, but you're not going to get too rich on that. Taylor Fritz is a big unit from the US, with a big serve. The grass suits his game. He's 4/5 to win in straight sets.

If you put those three selections together, Monfils, Broom and Fritz in straights, it gives you a 4.44/1 treble with a KBet.

Ladies 1st Round at Wimbledon

Over to the women's side of things. I'm going to start off with Barbara Krejcikova to beat Veronika Kudermatova, the world-ranked no.38. Kudermetova is best on clay and is slipping down the rankings. Krejcikova, I think, has a really good sniff here at 5/4 to get through the first round.

I'm also going to take a bit of a punt on Clara Tauson, the 21-year-old Dane. She's a big serving world no.67 and she's taking on the world no.11 in Danielle Collins. Now, on the face of it, Collins should get through here, but Collins hasn't got a great record at Wimbledon. Tauson is 5/2 to take Collins out in the first round and she has a chance.

Emma Raducanu is taking on Ekaterina Aleksandrová, who did make the semi-finals at Hertogenbosch recently. But, Raducanu made the quarter-finals at Eastbourne, the semi-finals at Nottingham. She knows Wimbledon well. She likes the grass court surface. She is coming back to something like the form she showed when she won the U.S. Open. She's 13/16 to beat Aleksandrová.

I'm also going to put in Heather Watson (6/4) to beat Greet Minnen. Both players come to SW19 in pretty woeful form, it has to be said. But Watson does like Wimbledon. She's got good memories from the grass court surfaces there and I think she can make it through.

So, if you put those four selections into a fourfold, you can get 31.67/1 with William Hill.
