James Buttler looks forward to three Nations League matches on Monday and comes up with a 12.75/1 treble.
Belgium v France
Belgium came back from 2-0 down to salvage a 2-2 draw against Italy on Thursday, whereas France beat Israel to go to six points in Group A2, one behind Italy.
France beat Belgium 2-0 in the reverse fixture and another victory for Les Bleus would see them win five successive H2Hs for the first time ever.
France have conceded at least one goal in their last four matches but their 4-1 win over Israel showed no signs they were missing the striking firepower of Kylian Mbappé, who has fallen out with manager Didier Deschamps.
It’s a tough match to call, but despite only two of the last five H2Hs seeing BTTS, one of those was the last time they met in Belgium in the Nations League in 2021, when France won 3-2. Both Teams to Score at 4/6 is a strong first play in our treble.
Italy v Israel
Italy endured a slip in their 2-2 draw against Belgium, from 2-0 up when Lorenzo Pellegrini saw red in the 40th minute, Belgium hit back. They remain top of the Group A2 table with two wins and that draw.
Against Israel they have won..2 five and drawn once and in the two home matches they are 7-0 on aggregate. Italy, unbeaten in their last eight at home, look a strong bet to win again. It’s really a case of by how many?
Israel lost 4-1 to France in their last match, five defeats in their last six, and obviously, with mayhem at home, they are struggling to avoid relegation. Each of Israel’s last six internationals have seen at least three match goals scored. An Italy win and over 3.5 match goals is a more than decent punt at 6/4.
Germany v Netherlands
It’s a fight for top of the Group A3 table with Germany currently leading the Dutch by two points. A German win would see them into the quarter-finals. But Germany are just two wins from eight H2Hs with Netherlands, but the play, if you like to take previous encounters into the equation, is goals. The last six matches have seen BTTS and 24 goals, an average of four per game.
If you’re looking for a goal scorer, Deniz Undav has started well for the Germans with three goals in five appearances. Undav to score and BTTS is 23/10.
James’ Nations League Tips
• Both Teams To Score in Belgium v France at 4/6
• Italy to win and over 3.5 match goals at 6/4
• Deniz Undav to score and BTTS in Germany v Netherlands at 23/10
The treble is worth 12.75/1.
