Tuesday’s Euro 2024 Play Offs
Betting Radio’s David Easson casts an eye on the final 3 matches in qualifying…
Wales vs Poland
Here’s Wales’ chance then. A home game against the Poles to reach another tournament.
They are just about the favourites for this but they’re odds against and the bookies aren’t convinced and neither am I. Wales are around even money at best to qualify with the Poles not far behind at 23/20 and I’m inclined to favour them in this one.
Wales beat Finland 4-1 on Thursday but this is a different test for a side that’s had to blood young talent against the likes of Lewandowski, Wojciech Szczesny and Piotr Zielinski.
Poland won home and away against Wales in 2022 in the Nations League and Wales’ will need Cardiff at full voice – but in qualifying that didn’t help them against the likes of Turkey and Armenia.
Poland to qualify at 23/20 goes into the treble.

Georgia vs Greece
Georgia saw off Luxembourg 2-0 in their playoff semi-final and now face Greece with the away side made the favourites to go through to the summer. Greece battered Kazakhstan last week but this is a different test on the road.
Georgia won their Nations League group with five wins from six, only losing at home to Spain in the qualifiers. They’ve won 8 out of 12 at home, scoring 16 in their last 4.
I’m backing them – again on the to qualify market at 5/4

Ukraine vs Iceland
Ukraine have been drawn as the home side but it’s again in Wroclaw, where they do have significant home support.
Iceland got past Israel on Thursday but struggled in qualifying and if form works out it’s decent for Ukraine as Iceland gained just a point more than Bosnia who they beat dramatically last week.
Iceland were beaten six times in the group and you’d have to back Ukraine to make it four wins from five but Iceland have scored in six of their last seven away games so they are worth a goal here.
Ukraine and both to score makes up the treble. That’s 29/10
The treble is just over 17/1
Please gamble responsibly.
