Thursday Europa League Betting Preview

Betting Radio’s David Easson looks at Thursday’s Europa League Knockout Round 2nd legs.
A couple of these ties are done and dusted but there’s still a huge amount on the line for some of these clubs. First up is Freiburg against Lens. This was a hugely cagey first leg and I can’t see any different in the second leg. Freiburg are struggling for goals and this looks a very tricky tie for them even at home. Will Lens travel well? Will they need to? It’s screams extra time and for that I’m putting the draw in there.
Next up Qarabag at home to Braga, with a 4-2 lead from the first leg and more than capable of picking off the Portuguese with that lead. They’ve built themselves a very decent outfit in Azerbaijan and they will be a decent price to take another win in the home leg. You don’t just wander off to Portugal and win a European tie 4-2. More than worth a second leg win here.
Now to Rome and Roma- Feyenoord. I thought this would have more goals in the first leg, with the Dutch side amongst the goals all season but while they haven’t been losing too many, the goals have dried up, while Roma are in the process of being unleashed by Daniele de Rossi. A 3-0 win at the weekend and the goals are flowing. The Dutch side have a goal in them but I get the feeling Roma might have more than enough and could go well in the rest of the competition. Roma and over 2.5 goals here for me.
Finally it’s Shakhtar against Marseille after the 2-2 draw in the first leg. All change at Marseille again with Gattuso sacked and replaced by the Cote D’Ivoire coach – not the one who won Afcon, the one they sacked midway through the tournament. They've been absolutely awful. I think it comes too soon for that set of players and I think overs on the goals and both teams to score is the way I'm going to go with this one.
Qarabag win, Freiburg-Lens as a draw, Roma & over 2.5 goals and Over 2.5 goals &BTTS in Marseille-Shakhtar is 67/1.
