Betting Radio’s David Easson gets former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson’s views on the weekend’s football

David Easson: Aston Villa versus Arsenal. Villa’s home record, Arsenal aiming for the title. Saturday tea-time. It's all set up for an absolute classic, isn’t it?

Paul Robinson: It’s game of the weekend, for sure. Aston Villa at home have been nothing short of sensational. 15 wins in a row would be an all-time club record. They're in a really, really good place at the moment. They're playing some really good football. Away from home has been their Achilles heel but I think the side that they've got now with Ollie Watkins, John McGinn - if he was English, we'd be talking about him week in and week out - Pau Torres & Diego Carlos at the back, the results that they've got at home, the goalkeeper as well. I mean Martinez is potentially one of the best in the league at the moment.
Everything at Aston Villa is the best it’s been in my lifetime. Arsenal, on the flip side of that, they’re doing extremely well sat at the top of the league. If Villa play the high line then Arsenal have got the players to hurt them but Villa At home, do you back against them? I tipped them to beat City and they did.
tip them up last week against. Manchester City.

David Easson: You did indeed Paul - The last team to beat Villa at Villa Park was Arsenal. It’s a different Villa though and with Villa Park bouncing, under the lights, this is going to be tough.

Paul Robinson: That's why I’m tipping is a great game. It won't be 0-0! Villa’s 1o games before the clean sheet against City were BTTS score. They thoroughly deserved that win and should have probably won it by more. Arsenal do like to try and keep it tight away from home, but they do concede goals. And that's what makes it a real spectacle. If you're looking at the betting market, really appealing one for me as both teams to score. Villa again are a really good price at home. Arsenal are not as short as Manchester City were but Villa at home, both teams to score, pick a goal scorer and I think there's there's a card market here as well. Lucas Digne loves a yellow card. And he's gonna come up against Saka. Luiz as well. Look at the midfield battle. There are battles and potential yellows all over the pitch.
