Sunday’s Premier League with Paul Robinson
The former Leeds, Spurs and England keeper says this Super Sunday clash is a huge moment for either side that wins it.
This is not win or bust for Arsenal, but three points going either way would certainly have a big impact on the league, a point either way doesn't really change things. Arsenal seem to have turned a corner. They were top at Christmas, fell away, scored five goals in a month which wasn't good, but then scored five in one game against Palace where they look good again at home. Away at Forest they got a really hard-fought win and it looks like they're back on track to where they want to be. Liverpool are in really good form at the moment without Salah but with Nunez and Jota they've got through January so well
We all talk about the attacking prowess of these two sides, but they're the two teams with the best defensive records in the country, so it's going to be a really intriguing one. It's probably one of the hardest games in a long time to predict a winner. You can look at the stats. You can look at the figures, you can suggest different things. The angle that I would look at this is personal preference on a winner because Liverpool have got a good record at the Emirates, both teams to score because of the quality that they've got there and it's a really good game to look forward to.
Arsenal at home against a very good Liverpool side slightly have an advantage with being at home. We’ll see if Liverpool have Nunez. I know we all we talk about Nunez, the chances that he misses and what he does and doesn't do, but what he creates and what he does for the team, it will make Klopp shuffle his pack if he’s not fit.
With this one it’s both teams to score and pick a winner! I’ll say 2-1 Arsenal. Just!
