Former England keeper Paul Robinson thinks City have the edge…just
The bookies have marked this up with City the favourites to win at Anfield and it’s a reflection of where these two sides are at the moment. Given the history it's not been a happy hunting ground for City, but with Liverpool just getting their injuries back, I think the market is just about right – but that's not taken into account the Anfield effect and the Klopp Effect. Plus, Nunez is back fully fit, scoring goals, Endo comes back into the team, so does Szoboszlai and he’s saved Salah as well
City have no injury worries apart from Jack Grealish, Haaland is scoring goals again, it's just going to be a fantastic game. Liverpool are unbeaten in their 22 games at Anfield across all competitions, winning 20 with 2 draws but a big fact is that City have drawn four of their six Premier League games versus the Big Six. So, there IS an argument for Liverpool at home.
I just think City have got a lot of quality and a couple of players that Liverpool might not have at maximum fitness and their injury list could still hurt them.
I think there's obviously a way in with the betting markets. It's personal preference though!
They’re so close together in terms of goals score, goals conceded. Maybe draw half time and then pick a winner, because I think there will be one. Both will go for it.
