Premier League - Fulham v Tottenham Hotspur Preview
Former England keeper Paul Robinson says his old side can kick on into the top 4
Champions League football is looking more and more likely now for Spurs after that fantastic win at Villa last week. I think that the good thing for Spurs is when you look who got on the score sheet: all of the forward players are playing well.
If England gets the fifth place as a Champions League place, both Spurs and Villa are well set with that gap to United. At the beginning of this season Spurs getting into the Champions League was almost unthinkable.
Fulham, on the other hand, are just floating on at the moment in mid table. They are not going to get relegated. They've got enough points as they have now to stay up where they are now. They won't go down on 35 points. They're not going to challenge the European places. So it's going to be a difficult job for the manager, to motivate his players. And that leads to unpredictability. Some weeks they'll turn up and win comfortably, and they'll get some indifferent results between now and the end of the season.
But I just think in this game Spurs have got far too much quality and coming off the back of a fantastic win against Villa and a fantastic performance. No midweek game for Tottenham with the only blow being the injury to van der Venn.
Spurs haven't been beaten at Fulham for a very, very long time. 2008 was the last time they lost at Fulham, and I can't see them that anything else but a win for them that this weekend and a pretty good price as well.
