Six Nations Preview – Wales v France – Richard Shaw Wright
This is Richard Shaw Wright and we are looking ahead to the final game of the penultimate weekend of the Six Nations for 2024.
Wales take on France and despite having lost all three games, I'm not sure the home side here will be as disappointed with their performances so far as the French will be. Is it my pocket talking about them drawing with Italy or just the fact that the French you as we remember were up there as favourites during their home World Cup have been something close to shambolic in this tournament.
In fact, with that narrow defeat against Scotland added in, I'm not sure I'd have any trust in them here at all and certainly wouldn’t back them to win, even though I think they will.
The handicap line is 7 as I speak. I'm not averse to the handicap tie for interest and definitely for interest is a last try scorer bet on Wales’s Alex Mann. He starts on the bench and having scored two tries in the tournament so far, I'll take the 25/1 that he scores the final try in this one.
