2024 PDC World Darts Championship Final Betting Preview - Luke Humphries v Luke Littler
2024 PDC World Darts Championship Final Betting Preview - Richard Shaw Wright
Listen to the Preview
When Alexander of Macedonia was 33, he cried salt tears because there were no more worlds to conquer. Bristow was only 27 or something like that.
The legendary words of the equally legendary Sid Waddell, the man whose name is on the trophy that one player will be lifting as the brand new PDC World Darts Champion
I'm Richard Shaw Wright and all I do know for sure is that someone called Luke will be the one lifting that trophy, Littler of which there's very little left to say anymore after he came through his toughest test against former champion Rob Cross in the semi final, but shared that same composure throughout his 6 sets to 2 win hitting 16 180s in the process, taking his tournament total to 50.
It was slightly more comfortable for Humphries with a white wash over Scott Williams and his 14 180s to take his tournament total also to 50.
Both are in their first senior World Championship final. This is a match up between the 2019 World Youth Champ and the man, or is it boy who won that title a few weeks ago and whoever wins they will follow in the footsteps of Michael Smith the 1st to win both the PDC's Youth and Senior World titles.
Who wins? Well all the hypes with Littler. And I'm not saying he can't, but I've got a side with Humphries with the Grand Prix, Grand Slam and Players Championship titles in the Cabinet I fancy him to add the biggest of all by the end of the match. That's not to say Littler has no chances as I say I'll be taking overs on the set in the match and certainly plenty of maximums between the pair.
Maybe that draw again on the most 180s market correct score. I'm going to go for Luke Humphries to win by seven sets to five.
